"Sunflower" - A Personal Zine
In early 2021, I was honored to participate in the Salt Lake City Alt Press fest, an extraordinary gathering that celebrated the art of self-published zines. This festival provided a platform for independent creators, embracing the unique and diverse world of self-published magazines.
One of the highlights for me was being selected as a creative panelist, where I had the opportunity to share my journey and experiences in creating my very own zine, "Sunflower." This zine is a manifestation of my passions, thoughts, and creativity, offering readers a glimpse into my world through the pages of this personal publication.
"Sunflower" is more than just a collection of words and images; it represents a labor of love, a space for introspection, and a medium for self-expression. By delving into its pages, readers embark on a visual and literary exploration, delving into themes that are close to my heart.
Through "Sunflower," I aim to foster a sense of connection and understanding, inviting others to resonate with its contents and find solace, inspiration, or simply a moment of reflection within its tenderly crafted pages. My zine reflects my unique perspective and serves as a testament to the power of self-publishing and artistic autonomy.
As I continue to traverse the realm of self-publishing and zine culture, "Sunflower" remains a testament to my creative journey, and I am grateful for the opportunity to showcase it at the Salt Lake City Alt Press fest. This zine holds a piece of my soul within its covers, and I hope that those who engage with it find a piece of themselves reflected in its intimate pages.
